Cover reveal!

I am so excited to reveal the cover for A Defiant Woman, the sequel to An Inconvenient Wife, which will be published March 3, 2026. The wonderful Amanda Hudson of Faceout Studio has again captured the Modern Tudor Mystery series look so well.

A lot of people ask if I have any input into the cover designs for my books, and mostly the publisher determines the look they're looking for. However, they do ask if I have any suggestions. The only thing I requested for An Inconvenient Wife was the Tudor rose, which is now part of the series title on the cover. Other than that, I felt the cover was spot on. For A Defiant Woman, the only input I gave was that in this book, a bloody sword is part of the plot. So they gave me the terrific bloody dagger slicing through the title, and it can't be more perfect. Again, an illustration suggesting billionaire Hank Tudor's wives graces the cover. While in An Inconvenient Wife, sixth wife Kate Parker, fourth wife Anna Klein, and first wife Catherine Alvarez are portrayed, A Defiant Woman focuses on Kate Parker and second wife Nan Tudor—although Anna and Catherine are again very much a part of the story.
